Sleeping-A human tendency or human need?
Everyone knows what is sleeping because it is natural phenomenon,every insect ,plant,trees,animals every living thing in the universe.Humans are the most developed and cultured creatures among all living things.So in today's scenario sleeping is the most important need of human health,as people are too much busy that they even have no time to sleep.Our body need rest and we provide it by sleeping.In a day of 24 hours ,we work,play,eat,watch television,meet people,talk,walk and do many other countless activities.These all daily life activities stresses out our body and mind.So our body and mind needs rest for recovery,and it recovers itself by sleeping.Sleeping is not just a human tendency or habit,but it is also a need.Sleeping has direct effect on human life.A good health is a result of good sleep and a bad sleep makes the life worse.So it is important to know some important things about sleeping.
Healthy sleeping / Good Sleeping /Adequate sleeping
The first thing is,what is healthy or adequate sleeping.A sleep of 7-8 hours is healthy for humans.In this duration of time our body completes its recovery.A minimum sleep then (at least )7 hours can cause serious health issues like stress,depression,heart problems,psychological issues etc .But it doesn't mean that we can sleep in excess,excessive sleep(more than 10 to 12 hours) can also cause health problems like laziness,weight gain etc.If a person does not sleep enough in night, then his day will be ruined,we will be unable to concentrate on his work or he will feel irritated all the time.So,it is very important to sleep at lest 7 hours at night for a healthy and happy life.Body also heals when you sleep,this is the reason why doctor recommends his patients to have a good sleep for rapid and healthy healing of their diseases.Reasons for sleep deprivation
Today, problem sleep deprivation is increasing day by day.There are many reasons of sleep deprivation like girlfriend/boyfriend tension,work load,family problems and other stresses.Sleep deprivation occurs when we loose stability of our mind,and in today's scenario it is very hard to find a stable mind.Lack of sleep is also a main reason for unfitness.If a person cannot sleep at night then his body will be unable to recover,and it will create many health issues.People takes medicines for sleeping like sleeping pills,but there are many natural and easy ways to fall asleep quickly. Tricks to fall asleep
Turn off the lights
Yes,sometimes lights are the reasons due to which you cannot sleep.When the lights of the room are turned on,then it will be hard to sleep as your mind will not become stable and your mind will be unable to go in rest position.
Lower the room temperature
Keeping the room temperature from 16 to 17 degree Celsius is very helpful for falling asleep as it will cool down the mind.Mind will only go to rest if it is cool that is why it is easy to sleep in winter season and we feel so much sleepy in that season.
Confuse your mind/Try to stay awake
It is also a good trick to sleep.When we try to fall asleep,then our mind doesn't let us sleep due to our stress,and if we try to stay awake then we forget our stress and our mind goes in rest position.
Think like a child
This trick also works a lot for those who find s it hard to fall asleep.Think like a child,like counting from 1 to 100 or thinking about your early day's activities or imagining a trip to your dream place.Imaginations are the most powerful trick to fall asleep,that is why children falls asleep easily,a good imagination can a lot to fall asleep.
Listen music
Listening a slow music via earphone is very helpful to fall asleep.By listening to soft and slow music our mind goes in rest and we feel sleepy.
Do somework
If you can not fall asleep at night then start doing something like start reading a book.you should do a work in which your body stays in rest position.By doing such work your mind will feel tired and you will fall asleep.Never do any physical work ,do some mental work and make your mind tired.
Some extra tips
Daily exercise/cardio
Doing an instance workout and gym of cardiovascular exercise or any other physical work can be helpful is falling asleep early.As after doing exercise ,the body becomes very tired and it needs lots of rest for recovery.Due to such heavy tiredness,falling asleep at night becomes so easy.
Avoid day time naps and sleeps
A good sleeping at night is as essential as healthy eating as it is the longest time period in which someone can sleep without any disturbance, and in this time body heals and recovers the most.Sleeping at the day time can reduce the sleep at night.So,try to avoid day time sleeping in day times.
